Who we are

Launchworks is an online platform operated from South Africa. If you have questions about this policy or your personal information, contact us at info@launchworks.co.za.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. When you use the platform, we store the information you provide during onboarding (your professional background, capital range, motivation, and business interests), the business ideas and conversations you have during Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3, and your checklist progress. We do not collect payment information. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Why we collect it

We use your information solely to provide the Launchworks service — to personalise your brainstorm conversations, run your stress-test, and generate your launch checklist. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Who sees your data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider based in the EU. Your conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate AI responses. Neither provider uses your data to train their models in the context of API usage. No other third parties have access to your personal information.

How long we keep it

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a project, its conversation history is permanently deleted. If you want your account and all associated data deleted, email info@launchworks.co.za and we will action it within 14 days.

Your rights under POPIA

As a South African user, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, and object to how we process your information. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@launchworks.co.za.

Cookies

Launchworks uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
